Experience & Credentials
Aituar Abusseitov is a seasoned legal professional with over 20 years of experience, a PhD in Law (Candidate of Legal Sciences), and specialization in international and corporate law. He is a registered legal consultant of the AIFC and serves on the KazBar Committee on Antitrust Law. As Partner at IPLC, he advises on complex matters in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, trust management, and investment structuring. He has led multi-sector projects involving holding companies, joint ventures, and anti-raider protection, including under AIFC regulations. Aituar has managed construction and development projects exceeding $200 million in investment, and advised on petroleum trading, export contracts, and asset recovery. His international practice includes arbitration and litigation in foreign jurisdictions. He also implements budgeting and control systems for investment projects and advises on cross-border legal issues involving international private law and regulatory compliance. A graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Aituar holds a PhD in International Public Law and teaches contract law at KBTU. He is fluent in Kazakh, English.
